Figure 1. Brain Diagram showing the pituitary gland, hypothalams and the brain.

The hindbrain part contans 4 imporatant parts which are : The pituitary gland, cerebellum, pons, and the medulla oblongata.

Pituitary Gland:  The pitituray gland is the smallest oart of the brain, as it is only the size of a pea. This part of the brain is responsible for the hormones in your body. Your pituitary gland sends out signals to the hormones to bel realased which help you grow, gain facial hair, for girls begin menstrating, and just overall body body changes. This galnd is also repsonsible for signalling your metabolism hormones, and controling the sugars in your body.

Pons: Pons are an important oart of the brain that act as a relay station. Pons passes the information between the two regions of cerebellum, and between the cerebellum, and medulla.

Medulla Oblongata: The medulla is a region of the hind brain that joins the spinal cord to the cerebellum

Figure 2: The Location of the Cerebellum

The Cerebellum: The cerebellum is significantly smaller than the cerbrum, and is located at the bottom rear of the brain. The size of the cerebellum is no match to its importance. This is because, it is the portion of your brain that is responsible for balance, movement, and coordination. All of witch help your muscles move together.
